Sonia Petkewich has over 20 years in the staffing industry. In 2015, she became owner and CEO of Taurean Consulting Group, a 100% woman-owned IT staffing and project solutions company. Sonia is also President and WODA Committee Chair of NAWBO Southern Nevada, a Nevada Pinnacle Business Guide and a National Center for Women & Information Technology Las Vegas affiliate for The LV Techies.

Sonia considers herself the ultimate matchmaker, catalyst and goal-getter that has built successful relationships from creating deep relationships with clients and candidates. Her love of staffing stems from working alongside clients to help build amazing collaborative teams, as well as helping job candidates realize their personal and professional goals when her team finds them a fantastic job!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sonia saw an opportunity to give back to the small business community and launched a mastermind group in 2020. Her passion for supporting local entrepreneurs and business leaders really flourished during this time. She found fulfillment in helping leaders see themselves bigger to create organizations they are proud to lead, as well as to help build the legacies they dream to leave behind.

In her free time, Sonia loves experiencing new adventures with her husband and three children, including many Saturdays on the soccer field, Sundays watching the LAS VEGAS Raiders, and catching the Vegas Golden Knights games whenever possible.
